Introduction

Beginners are often embarrassed or intimidated by instructors and the environment on the driving range or simulator. A good instructor immediately tries to make the student feel comfortable.

Background Information

You will be asked to describe the sport you played before switching to golf; whether you have any injuries or physical limitations; who your previous instructors were (if any); your goals for playing golf (hobby or competitive)

Specific Golf Information

The instructor will check your equipment (if you have it). Then he will ask you to hit a few dozen balls. He will want to know the characteristics of your ball trajectory, the distance of each club, strengths/weaknesses, bad/unhealthy habits, etc.

Set an Objective for the Session

The instructor will then set objectives/lesson goals and a time frame for achieving them (not all students need the 10x package), based on your motivation and commitment.
